My first time visiting Dominican Republic and it proved to be an unforgettable weekend! Along with my boyfriend and close friends we ventured and took over La Romana. Unfortunately it did rain two out of the five days we stayed, but this didn't stop us from emptying out all the buffets and bars at this all inclusive resort. Yes you heard right ALL INCLUSIVE! The Resort was beautiful, we stayed at Viva La Whyndham Dominicus Beach. The service was okay but the resort was filled with great food, shows, activities, and endless parties. If you have never stayed at an all inclusive resort, start thinking about it. Much like a cruise you have open buffets during breakfast, lunch, and dinner or you could make reservations to eat at one of their many themed restaurants. Words can’t explain how much fun I had, if you’re interested in booking you can easily find a list of resorts on expedia.com. 
So of course you can't go to the beach with out bathing suits and cover ups! I wanted to stay within a budget so I choose to mix and match. In the picture below my top is from Victoria Secret and my bottoms are from Target.  |
