Beach Day With Great People

I've had the best couple of weeks, beginning with my upcoming trip to New York and ending with a friends reunion at the beach. It is spring break for most college students and what better way to kick off the break than spending the day at the beach? On Friday my friends and I did just that. Spending time with them really made me realize how lucky I am to have them, not many people can say they have real friends. One thing I admire about them is the fact that they never hold back from what they are feeling, if they don't like a decision I made then they will let me know. Most people can't do that, they are scared to hurt your feelings, but no not my friends they tell you how it is and no questions are asked. I used to think I didn't really have anyone I can truly count on, but these two years has really taught me a lot about friendships. If your friends aren't allowing you to grow as a person then they aren't really your friend. I think people shouldn't stress friends who are not doing just that, life is to short to be dealing with unnecessary drama. I always say once a friendship is affecting you personally then it should be dropped no questions asked. It is easier said than done, but it is possible. I just have no patience to deal with friendships who are not worth it. While at the beach we had food and drinks at the Marriott Hotel, we had access to their pool and jacuzzi. It is moments like this that I will miss when I leave to college, enjoy every minute you have with the ones you love because nothing lasts forever. Here are some pics from our beach day!
