Happy Birthday to one of Americas most talented designers, Carolina Herrera! Carolina was born in Venezuela back in 1939 and is known for her personal style. The Venezuelan-American fashion designer has dressed some of Americas most important people from First Ladies, Jacqueline Onassis and Michelle Obama to Sandra Bullock and Tina Fey. When Carolina was young her grandmother took her to go see Balenciaga's couture show in Paris, it was from that moment on that her famous quote "My eyes was accustomed to see beautiful things" aroused. Mrs. Herrera's style is known for its elegance and class. I personally admire her wedding gowns and the fact that she is of my heritage (Latina), makes me admire her even more.
